Wonder - by Ella

Wonder
Wonder. Wonder is a book that tells you a message. This message is: to be yourself, it's your personalty that counts, not the way you look! I love this book because it stick's in your head for a long time. The book has lots of different views on things however there are some mean people and some nice, kind people. I liked it loads I think you will to! I recommend this book to every one.

Tyler's been reading Bart Simpson's Guide to Life!

Have you ever forgotten show and tell? Or wondered how to stay up pass your bed time? Well this is the book for you. And it has 17 amazing chapters like school, food and Xmas. It also tells you how to get out of fights(cool!). All together I will give this book a 5 out of 5. I like it a much as Harry Potter. This book was my mum's and she bought it for ten pounds. So if you ever need some help on these things then you know where to go.

Samantha's Famous Five book review...

The famous five are four children and a dog. The four children are called: Anne, Dick, Julian, and Georgina (but every one haze to call her George or she won't answer because she really wants to de a boy, even her teachers call her George). George's dog is called Timothy but Tim for short. Anne is the youngest, then George and Dick and the oldest is Julian.

The author of Famous Five is called Enid Blyton and has been writing books for years. The Famous Five have many adventures and have many books to collect.

Ceri's update on Far Rockaway...

Well I haven't read much of Far Rockaway but from what I have read so far I am really enjoying it.

The main person is named Cat - she is fighting for her life between two worlds: a midtown Manhattan hospital, and a strange landscape full of heroes and villains. She doesn't know how she is going to survive.

The best chapter that I have read so far is chapter one: Merry Christmas.

I wish more books could be like this. If I were to vote this book out of five stars I would vote it five stars.

Jack W reviews Cool by Michael Morpurgo...

'Cool' is a mix between drama and comedy. It's about little boy named Robbie. He's a funny character who has a lovely pet dog, that goes by the name of Lucky. His mum asked him to go and walk the dog, but Lucky didn't have a lead on so he ran off into the garden and the gate was open. Lucky ran into the road and Robbie ran after him. There was a car coming and they both got ran over. Luckily Robbie survived and he's In a coma.
But you will have to read the book to find out if Lucky is a actually lucky.
Enjoy,
Jack W :-)

Beth's review of Harry Potter & the Philosopher's Stone!

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone -
Harry Potter and the Philosopher stone is the first of many entertaining, descriptive collection of books written by J.K Rowling: an amazingly talented writer. It is a story of many emotions and is really enjoyable to read. If you have watched the film well this book is even better with added scenes and different reactions and places and even more interesting characters. It really is just brilliant you do not want to miss a chance of reading this book! It uses great description and lots of creative, new words.
This is definitely a book I would recommend!

Beth's review of Gangsta Granny!

Gangsta Granny is a really funny and entertaining book: it has a really exciting twist around the end of the story! It has a load of funny jokes that are so funny that instead of just a little snigger you laugh out loud at every joke! It has really interesting, yet totally different characters if you like reading David Walliams books, then you definitely would want to read this book. It also includes funny illustrations! It includes great description too!
Beth's rating: 10/10 - perfect!
